Age of Drivers: Drivers must be between 18-21 years old and through the Young Driver Surcharge (YDS) they are allowed to rent a vehicle of category A at Moto Rent Corfu. For all remaining categories, the minimum age to rent a vehicle is 22 years old. A driver’s fee of 5€ per day must be paid for renting a vehicle if the driver is below 22. There are no restrictions or surcharges for drivers between 22-70 years old. The maximum age for renting a Scooter is 70 years.
YDS: for drivers between 18-21 years old
Scooter Categories: The only Scooter Category available for renting concerning this specific age group is A (50cc).
Extra Fee: The final price includes an additional fee of 5€ per day.
Deposit: An amount of 300€ is reserved as a deposit, which is refundable on the condition that there is no damage to the scooter upon the return of the vehicle.
Insurance: This specific age group can choose Basic Insurance.
Driver’s License: A driver must have held a driver’s license for at least two years prior to the vehicle pick-up date.
It is required that you have a satisfactory level of knowledge of scooter/wagon handling. In any case, if our agents realize, at the time of delivery, that you do not have enough experience, they reserve the right to stop the rental process, for your own safety.
For a Moped-50cc scooter, a car driver’s license B or a moped-category driver’s license (European AM) is required.
For a 125cc scooter, a driver must present a valid motorcycle-class driver’s license (European A1, A or A2).
For a 300cc scooter, a driver must present a valid motorcycle-class driver’s license (European A or A2).
For motorcycles exceeding 300cc, a driver must present a valid motorcycle-class driver’s license (European A2).
The basic rental includes:

Renters are not obliged to provide a credit card or deposit as a guarantee for the rental.

Our Full to Full fuel policy means that you pick up scooters or motorcycles with a full tank of fuel and therefore you have to return them with a full tank.
An extra driver is allowed to drive vehicles with no extra charges. The minimum age requirements for extra drivers are 24 years, while they must present a valid motorcycle-class driver’s license.
Renters are responsible for checking scooters and motorcycles and immediately report any repair needs or damages. Renters may be held responsible in case of a mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycles’ handling or negligent maintenance of vehicles.
We reserve the right to substitute a reserved vehicle with another, when a certain scooter type is unavailable. While we may not always guarantee an identical brand, we assure you that you get a similar scooter or one from a higher category.
Transportation of a vehicle on a ferry or traveling abroad is strictly forbidden.
In case of offense against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions, all protections lose their validity.
To confirm and secure your vehicle rental, a 20% prepayment of the total amount has to be paid by your credit card or debit card.
The balance shall be paid upon the start date of your rental in cash.
For a full refund, cancellations must be done at least 24 hours prior to the start date of the RENTAL.
Office opening hours: 9:00 – 21:00.
For after-hours pick-ups and/or drop-offs of a vehicle, an additional charge of 25€ including VAT, applies. This fee must be settled at the rental company’s counter.
The after-hours service charge is applicable during the following hours:
Meet & Greet Service at Airports: 21:00 to 08:00 25€.
At Office: 21:00 to 08:00.
A scooter’s rental price includes Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL) covering a driver’s liability for damage to any other property or person, apart from the rented vehicle itself, according to Greek law.
Τhe extra option of CDW Insurance limits the driver’s liability in case of theft or crash. The name of the driver is the only one being covered through this insurance, thus this insurance is not valid on the condition that the driver has not enough experience handling a motorcycle/scooter or an unauthorized person drives the vehicle. This insurance does not cover any accessories. For any costs in case of damage or loss of accessories, extra charges apply.

No insurance covers any claim for or related to death or personal injury.
If a driver seems to lack the required driving skills and experience, Moto Rent reserves the right to cancel the extra insurance plan on the day of pick-up after informing the renter-driver.
Theft Protection (TP) safeguards against the theft of rental vehicles and is exclusively included in CDW Insurance.
In order the extra Insurance to cover the theft of the rental scooter, both an immediate report to police authorities and the scooter’s keys are required.
Renters will be charged the vehicle’s market value if they do not possess the scooter’s keys.
Tire Insurance covers unwanted damage caused due to curbing or a blow-out and malicious acts and is exclusively included in CDW Insurance.
Tire insurance covers 100% costs for the tire replacement or repair.
This Insurance covers only one (1) tire per rental and does not cover the wheel rim.
Driving off-road is forbidden and is not covered by Tire Insurance.
