Age of Drivers:<\/strong> Drivers must be between 18-21 years old and through the Young Driver Surcharge (YDS) they are allowed to rent a vehicle of category A at Moto Rent Corfu. For all remaining categories, the minimum age to rent a vehicle is 22 years old. A driver’s fee of 5\u20ac per day must be paid for renting a vehicle if the driver is below 22. There are no restrictions or surcharges for drivers between 22-70 years old. The maximum age for renting a Scooter is 70 years.<\/p>\n YDS:<\/strong> for drivers between 18-21 years old<\/strong> It is required that you have a satisfactory level of knowledge of scooter\/wagon handling. In any case, if our agents realize, at the time of delivery, that you do not have enough experience, they reserve the right to stop the rental process, for your own safety.<\/p>\n For a Moped-50cc scooter, a car driver\u2019s license B or a moped-category driver\u2019s license (European AM) is required. The minimum age requirements for extra drivers are 24 years, while they must present a valid motorcycle-class driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n Renters are responsible for checking scooters and motorcycles and immediately report any repair needs or damages. Renters may\u00a0be\u00a0held responsible\u00a0in case of a\u00a0mechanical damage\u00a0due\u00a0to\u00a0negligence\u00a0in motorcycles\u2019 handling or negligent maintenance of vehicles.<\/p>\n We reserve the right to substitute a reserved vehicle with another, when a certain scooter type is unavailable. While we may not always guarantee an identical brand, we assure you that you get a similar scooter or one from a higher category.<\/p>\n Transportation of a vehicle on a ferry<\/b> or<\/b> traveling<\/b> abroad is strictly forbidden.<\/b><\/p>\n In case\u00a0of offense against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions, all protections lose their validity.<\/p>\n To confirm and secure your vehicle rental, a 20% prepayment of the total amount has to be paid by your credit card or debit card. For a full refund, cancellations must be done at least 24 hours prior to the start date of the RENTAL.<\/p>\n Office opening hours:\u00a0 9:00 – 21:00.<\/p>\n For after-hours pick-ups and\/or drop-offs of a vehicle, an additional charge of 25\u20ac including VAT, applies. The name of the driver is the only one being covered through this insurance, thus this insurance is not valid on the condition that the driver has not enough experience handling a motorcycle\/scooter or an unauthorized person drives the vehicle. This insurance does not cover any accessories. For any costs in case of damage or loss of accessories, extra charges apply. No insurance covers any claim for or related to death or personal injury.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If a driver seems to lack the required driving skills and experience, Moto Rent reserves the right to cancel the extra insurance plan on the day of pick-up after informing the renter-driver.<\/p>\n Theft Protection (TP) safeguards against the theft of rental vehicles and is exclusively included in CDW Insurance. Tire Insurance covers unwanted damage caused due to curbing or a blow-out and malicious acts and is exclusively included in CDW Insurance.
\nScooter Categories:<\/strong> The only Scooter Category available for renting concerning this specific age group is A (50cc).
\nExtra Fee:<\/strong> The final price includes an additional fee of 5\u20ac per day.
\nDeposit:<\/strong> An amount of 300\u20ac is reserved as a deposit, which is refundable on the condition that there is no damage to the scooter upon the return of the vehicle.

\nTire insurance covers 100% costs for the tire replacement or repair.
